Chick Events has been around since 2014 and has also hosted over 20 events! These days, you can find us popping up in the parking lot at Town Center Plaza during the spring and fall. Each of our tented, outdoor shopping events hosts 100-150 vendors and can have up to 6,000 guests! All vendor booths are tented and you can find Food Trucks and a Kids Area at each event. Vendors include handmade and local KC boutiques and mobile shops! We invite the entire family to come out to these events since there is fun to be had for all!
We are dog-friendly and stroller-friendly, though it can get a bit crowded inside booths, so please take that into consideration when you arrive! Chick Events will go on rain or shine. We only cancel due to inclement weather if there is a safety issue, so bring an umbrella if it rains, wear a coat if it snows and lastly, enjoy the sun if it’s warm! The midwest weather always keeps us on our toes, so join us as we enjoy the weather regardless of what the weather has in store!
The KC Love Event celebrates everything we love about Kansas City in one shopping event at Union Station! We love this community and desire to grow and encourage small, local businesses with big dreams! This indoor shopping event will be full of hand-picked vendors and will be fun for the whole family, plus, it’s all happening within the heart of Kansas City- the beautiful and historical Union Station.
Westport Christmas Market is back for the third year on Saturday, December 13! This holiday tradition transforms the Historic Westport District into a winter wonderland, featuring Kansas City-area makers and crafters, festive beverages, carolers singing your favorite classics, holiday crafts and even a visit from Santa and Buddy the Elf! ‘Tis the season to create cherished memories with the whole family.

Join us for the 48th annual Friends of Shawnee Town Arts & Crafts Fair & Fall Festival on Saturday, September 20 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, featuring over 130 vendors showcasing their handmade, homemade, and re–purposed items! There’s something for everyone, including a variety of local food vendors, FREE Kids’ Activities, games, and Live Music scheduled throughout the day!
Admission is $1.00 admission, collected at the gates. Fair is open Saturday, September 20 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. All money raised benefits the Museum and its educational programs.
